The RiverFront Run finishes on the banks of the beautiful Flint River

Race Location

You will love the NEW COURSE for theRiverFront Run! The 5K and 1-Mile will start on the riverfront, directly behind the Albany Welcome Center. It is an out-and-back that follows the riverfront path to the Oxford Nature Trail where it takes you through the woods and over the lookout bridges and then back onto the path. The race ends where it started, right alongside the banks of the Flint River.



Race Registration and Packet Pickup will be held at the Albany Welcome Center located at 112 North Front Street.

The Dougherty County Medical Society is an association of physicians residing and practicing in Dougherty County, Georgia, for the purpose of promoting the science and art of medicine and the betterment of public health.

Race Start Time
The 1-mile fun run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
The 5K Run begins promptly at 8:50 a.m.

Parking
Parking is available behind the RiverQuarium, or in the parking lots located behind the buildings in between Front Street and Washington.

Aid Stations and Potties
There will be an aid station at the halfway point of the 5k event. Aid stations will be stocked with water, and a few cheering fans. There are public restrooms located in the RiverFront Park at the start and finish of the race.

T-Shirts
All registrants will receive a race T-shirt and Goody Bag.
Accurate shirt size with race designation is guaranteed onlyparticipants registered by September 21, 2014.

Door PrizesĀ 
All run and walk participants who cross the finish line will be eligible for door prize drawings. Must be present to win.

Safety
For the safety of all runners, walkers and wheelers: NO bicycles, skate boards, roller blades or roller skates are allowed on the course. Sorry- no pets allowed.
