Proceeds Benefit Darton College Foundation, Allied Health Program
The Dougherty County Medical Society is proud to donate race proceeds to the Darton College Foundation, Inc., Allied Health Program. In 2010, DCMS presented a $5,000 check to Darton. With your help we can do more! Darton College is one of the leading producers of health care professionals within the SW Georgia area. The Darton College Allied Health Division offers 11 different Allied Health Career Programs and 7 Allied Health Certificate Programs.

The RiverFront Run is pleased to announce a NEW COURSE FOR THE 2011 RACE! The 5K and 1-Mile will start on the riverfront, directly behind the Albany Welcome Center. It is an out-and-back that follows the riverfront path to the Oxford Nature Trail where it takes you through the woods and over the lookout bridges and then back onto the path. The race ends where it started, right alongside the banks of the Flint River.



T-Shirts and Goody Bags
NEW IN 2011! All registrants will receive a TECHNICAL FABRIC race T-shirt. Accurate shirt size with race designation is guaranteed only to pre-registration participants.Each participant will also receive a Goody Bag.

Trophies and Medals:
Trophies will be Awarded to the OVERALL male and female winners and MASTERS male and female winners.
Medals will be Presented to the top three men/women in the following age divisions: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 74-75, 80+.

Door PrizesĀ 
All run and walk participants who cross the finish line will be eligible for door prize drawings. Must be present to win.

Safety
For the safety of all runners, walkers and wheelers: NO bicycles, skate boards, roller blades or roller skates are allowed on the course. Sorry- no pets allowed.
