Packet Pickup and Registration will be available from 3-6 PM at the Albany Welcome Center (112 N Front St) Friday, Oct. 21. Pre-registration is available online at active.com, or registration forms can be downloaded or picked up at area locations and mailed to the Dougherty County Medical Society (PO Box 1828, Albany, GA 31702). Sorry, packets cannot be mailed. Race Day Registration All registrants will receive a TECHNICAL FABRIC race T-shirt and Goody Bag. Accurate shirt size with race designation is guaranteed only to pre-registration participants. All Runners and Walkers are eligible for Door Prizes.
The RiverFront Run is pleased to announce a NEW COURSE FOR THE 2011 RACE! The 5K and 1-Mile will start on the riverfront, directly behind the Albany Welcome Center. It is an out-and-back that follows the riverfront path to the Oxford Nature Trail where it takes you through the woods and over the lookout bridges and then back onto the path. The race ends where it started, right alongside the banks of the Flint River.
