RIVERFRONT RUN 5K CHIP TIMING!

Each 5K participant will be professionally timed using the a timing sensor which is secured to the back of their race tag. This state of the art disposable timing system will give runners an accurate result of their 5K times, courtesy of Event Tech. The 1-Mile race is not a timed event.

What is CHIP TIMING?
The disposable timing tag will record a runner's official time, beginning when a participant crosses the start line and concluding as he or she passes the finish.

On race day, runners simply secure their race numbers to the front of their shirt or pants and they are ready to run. After crossing the finish, runners do not need to return the tag and can dispose of it at their convenience.

Congratulations to Past Winners and Race Participants!
